Iedere maand versturen we, via loting, een kaart naar iemand van de groep. Deze keer viel mij Nicole te beurt. Ik hoop dat ze deze kaart mooi vindt.




Every month we send a card, by draw, to a member of our group. This time the honor was for Nicole. I hope she like the creation.

Twee kaarten vandaag... Today two cards....

Het regent de laatste tijd verjaardagen... Vandaag is mijn liefste Johan jarig en mijn maatje Aniet. Dus ik heb weer flink gewerkt om er iets creatiefs van te maken.

The last time it 's raining birthdays... Today celebrate my beloved husband and friend Aniet. So I 've good working and created the this two cards.

Enige tijd geleden deed ik mee aan de sprookjesswap van Klaartje. Iedereen (15 personen) maakten 15 kaarten met als onderwerp..."uitbeelding van een sprookje". Mijn eerste gedachte ging naar "de Indische waterlelies", een sprookje van onze koningin Fabiola, maar helaas was Godelieve me voor. Dan maar op zoek naar iets origineler en daarbij stuitte ik op een heel oud sprookjesboek..."De 8 verhalen van Tante Lucille". Daarin vond ik dan ook mijn inspiratie!
Het werd: "De Fee van de Madeleine bron". Een verhaal over een piepklein ventje, dat door iedereen gepest wordt en wanneer zijn moeder zeer zwaar ziek wordt, alle moed bijeen pakt en op zoek gaat naar het wonderwater... Na een zware tocht komt hij bij een bevroren rivier en daar ontmoet hij de goede fee....nadat hij haar zijn verhaal heeft vertelt, krijgt hij een kruik met levensvocht mee en redt zo het leven van zijn moeder. In het dorp staat iedereen versteld van zijn lef en vanaf dat moment gaan de bewoners respectvol met hem om.

Moraal van het verhaal: Ook als kleine garnaal heb je een waarde in de grote zee vol haaien!

De kaart die ik maakte werd gepubliceerd in het Art Specially magazine nr.5 en daar ben ik nu zeer trots en blij om.

Some time ago I participated to the fairy tale swap of Klaartje. Everyone (15 persons) made 15 cards with as subject… portrayal of a fairy tale. My first idea went to "the Indian waterlilies", a fairy tale of our queen Fabiola, but unfortunately was Godelieve me for. Then but in search of something more original and thereby I ran up against a very old fairy tale book… "The 8 stories of aunt Lucille". In this I found my inspiration! It became: "The fairy of the Madeleine source". A tale concerning catches teeny-weeny fellow, which is teased by everyone and when his mother becomes very heavily sick, he goes on search to miracle water… After a heavy excursion he comes at a frozen river and met there the good fairy….after he has tells her his story , he gets a pitcher with lifesliquid and saves this way the living of his mother. In the village everyone stands mended of its bravados and as from that moment the occupants go respectfully with him for.

Morality of the tale: Also if small shrimp has you a value in the large sea full sharks!

The card how I made is published in the Art Specially magazine (5)....a beautiful magazine from the Netherlands. I 'me very proud en happy now.

Soms doe ik weken niks...geen tijd, geen inspiratie, geen zin... En dan plots komen de kriebels en ga ik aan slag...schud ik zo maar wat uit de mouw.
Deze week is de buurvrouw jarig en ik maakte haar deze kaart.

Paasvakantie in onze Belgische Ardennen...Eastervacation in our Belgian Ardennen.

Prachtig wit, een dik tapijt, dikke vlokken....sneeuwpret!

De ganse familie heeft genoten van 5 dagen winterpret. Hadden we dan geen witte kerst, de paashaas bracht de eitjes met een slee hoor!

Maar al te vaak denken we ons gek over kleuren, prenten, bijbehoren, om tot een goede kaart te kunnen komen. Toch zijn eenvoudige kaarten vaak ook heel mooi. En ik had dit weekend zin om het eenvoudig te houden.

Lente in zicht / Spring is comming soon.

Vanmorgen schijnt alweer de zon en vanuit mijn bed hoor ik, door het open venster, de vogeltjes hun concert geven. Dat doet er me aan denken dat de lente eraan komt.
